Special Correspondents — Trailer

Mark Twain once said, "a lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth can get its boots on." Well, British comedian Ricky Gervais may have taken that sentiment quite literally as he writes, directs and co-stars in the new Netflix comedy "Special Correspondents," about a washed-up war correspondent-turned-radio reporter (played by Eric Bana) who is supposed to be covering a war in Ecuador, but instead fakes his on-air news reports from the comfort of a New York apartment.
The film, in which Gervais plays Bana's co-conspirator and faithful radio engineer, features a top-notch supporting cast that includes Vera Farmiga, America Ferrera, Kelly Macdonald, Benjamin Bratt, Kevin Pollak, and Raul Castillo.
"Special Correspondents" will premiere on April 29, exclusively on Netflix. In the meantime, check out the film's newly-released trailer, above.
